Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were best of friends, who knew?  So much so that they lived next to each other in Naples, Florida where Edison also had a laboratory and this fantastically long pier in his back yard.  While their friendship may last forever, Edison's pier continues to disappear.  This is the longest set of symmetrical pier pylons I've seen in such good condition.
