Shelly and I walked the quiet nighttime coast of Fort Myers at the end of 2021 to see the calming remains of this ancient pier.  We spent an hour at the pier, alone aside from the pelicans, heron and Anhinga.  The sun set behind the peaceful waters, a memory to last us a lifetime.
