Bigger Taco Boat

To this day, I hate swimming in the ocean.  I was four years old when Jaws came out in 1975 and my parents disregarded parental warnings, if any existed.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of this deeply memorable film.  You know the musical score; you remember the iconic scenes; you, too, are afraid of what lurks beneath the surface.

The “boat” is a taco boat soft shell, filled with meat, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce.  The bow pulpit where Quint takes shots with the harpoon gun is made from hand shaped aluminum and a popsicle stick.  The barrels and harpoon gun were 3D printed and hand-painted.  The harpoon stuck in the “sharks” back is a toothpick.  The taco sauce (chum) was intentionally selected because of the words “Fire” and “Take Me Home”, which seemed like appropriate actions!

I wanted to use the original “Yackity Yack” teeth from 1949 because of the metal key used to wind them up but I found this set from the 1960’s.

Limited Edition of 200.
