The Shining is my favorite movie of all-time.  When I was a child, it was one of the two scariest movies I knew of (the other being Amityville Horror). 40 years after its release, I still consider it one of the most interesting, examination-worthy films, ever.

Shelly and I stayed at the Timberline Lodge in 2021, the inspiration for the Overlook hotel appearance, as seen in the movie.

In this scene the elevator is cut from wood and hand painted to resemble the original design.  Jack has broken through the biscuit with his ax.  Can you spot the easter eggs on the jar of jam?
