At Little Hunters Beach in Acadia National Park, you can hear the unique sound of thousands of rocks clacking together as the water goes in and out. It is astounding how many smooth "river rock" like rocks there are on this beach and each one is so beautiful! Surrounded by woods, the autumn leaves decorate the shoreline.
We were car camping on a 4,000 mile adventure from South Carolina to the most northeastern part of the United States, Lubec, Maine to Ohio and home again. We were up at 4:30am every day of the trip and asleep by 9pm.
